OK they look awesome, went out last night to put them on the wifes and really fought with them. I didnt shim the front and I will need to.
I went out today to put them on my Apex and shimmed the front of them and its a definate NO-GO.....the rubber pieces they send are significantly bigger than the stock and much more dense rubber.
Anyone else have these issues, am I missing something here?
I can get a large screwdriver through the holes but its not as big as the bolt, the bolt just will not line up. I have tried putting something under that side of the skis to put more pressure on it etc....
Im sure its something ridiculously stupid Im missing. But really wanted to ride to work today. Just about time to get cleaned up.

Had the same problems installing C&As on my cusins edge.
What we used to solve the problem was BRUTE FORSE!! I stood on the spindles and he used a ironbar to bend and wiggle the hole to get the bolt in.
BTW did you shim the front of the ski or the back to lift the front?? You should have the shim installed at the back of the rubber to lift the front to eliminate darting.

On the Slydogs you shim the front. Kevin, you can usually place a 2x4 under the inside edge of the ski after you start the bolt in the outside portion of the ski and spindle. Placing the 2x4 on the inside forces just the inner side of the ski up and aligns the holes. As far as the shim, yes, it is a little snug going in there. Just use a little patience and elbow grease LOL.

OK they are on...and shimmed in front. Not as much as some, but going to have to be enough.
What a chore. I mean really a pain to get them on.
But once I heard everyone had the issue then I could go to town. I didnt want to be forcing the issue unless I had to. Then it came down to forcing the issue! It took some finesse, patience, and muscle but they are on. The rubber bumpers are considerably bigger than stock and much more dense.
Will give full review this weekend for sure.
