Mine turns a little harder now, but WOW does it steer better! I'm a huge fan, got my friend to replace his razors with them because they turn just as well, and require less turning effort. Highly recommended. I did a blue/white/gray mix on mine.

put the powder pros and love them a little wide for normal trails but great off.

I picked up some indigo swirl Slydogs at the Toronto Snowmobile Show but haven't had a chance to use them yet. I got 7.5" Shaper bars for them.....does anyone have any comments on what size carbide works the best as I am a little worried the 7.5"ers are going to be a too aggressive!

Lammarwell, I love the 7.5" shapers. What do you mean by too agressive? They turn, and they bite very nicely. I will be ordering another pair to replace the ones I have when they wear out, turning doesn't seem to be that much harder, but that may be my setup.

Unluckydiablo; Thats good too hear! What is your set-up? Do you have a XTX or shorty? I played with the suspension all last season and haven't got it dialed in. I am hoping the Slydogs will help. What are you suspension settings?

55lbs on the fox floats (not a good shock in my opinion). I don't remember what I'm running in the back, and yes I'm running a shorty. I'm sending the shocks out this week or next for the sport x package from Hygear, so I'm not really paying attention. Sled is far from dialed in at this point, but at least it turns like I want it to.
I recommend the race ski instead of the trail ski, the trail one seems kind of thin. Hasn't let me down yet mind you, but just what what I can see.

Have to say I'm very impressed with the slydog skis. Went out on my first ride yesterday and put on 120 miles. Thought at first WOW they bit awesome and may a little on the heavy steering. But where ever you pointed the skis the sled went that way. My buddy asked to switch Nytro's and he also loved the ski's and handling. He still has stock skis and I was hating being on his sled. Can't believe I didn't invest in skis sooner. And just want to say thanks to all the TY people that help and give great information on on this forum.

nytro addict; What carbides are you running?
My sled is in at the dealer right now having all new ball joints and bushings installed (under warranty) and it is killing me not being able to check out the new Slydogs and 7.5" shapers i installed and have not tried out yet!

I'm running no studs and went with the 6" carbide from snow studs. But from what I've read on this forum. My next set will be the triple point bergstroms to try out. They say the bergstoms last for a very long time.
