SlyDog PowderHounds 7 or 8?

Hi I am new to the site and new to Yamaha. I am looking to replace the stock skis on my 09' Nytro MTX. I had a set of 7" Powderhounds on my last sled and loved them. My question is are the 8" powderhounds better for the heavey frontend of the nytro? Thansk in advance for the help.
