Slydog skis

They push alittle in loose snow but I love them on my attak. I think shaper bars would have help that a bit.

I have them on my Mt Viper and really like them. Float like crazy. They also steer very easily and have decent bite on the trail. I use Bergstrom Triple Points on them with ski savers. Very nice skis. If i didn't have them on the Mt Viper then i'd try them on the Attak. But so far I'm happy with Simmons on the Attak.

I had a set of Powderhounds on my Rage with 6" Shaper bars. They floated like crazy and had light steering effort but I thought they pushed quite a bit. Part of it could have been my set up, but I replaced with a set of Yamaha mountain skis. I have been pretty happy with the Yamaha mountain skis with 7.5" Shaper bars. G.B.

I just put a set on my 08 vector ltx GT,have not tried them yet, but I've heard a lot of good reports on them. One thing is they look sharp as hell, black blue and white camo, can't wait to get some snow.

There is a nice comparison in the Skis, Studs, and Aftermarket Suspensions forum here. I don't think a lot of people scroll all the way down there. Lots of good info in that section.

Had a set of powderhounds on my Nytro XTX for a season (about 2500mi) and ended up selling them and getting Curves. They were great offtrail but pushed quite a bit on the trail. I ran 6" shaper bars on them. When I increased ski pressure they railed on the trail but became a bear to turn at slower speeds. Well built skis though- took a lot of abuse and still looked good. Very lightweight too. Probably the best looking skis out there in my opinion. I love my Curves, they do everything pretty well for my purposes, but they are turds to look at... LOL.

i think the curve ski's are the way to go in the bigger sleds, i do have the trailhounds on my phazer and like them, but they are flexy, which i think is good on a smaller sled like the phazer.. if i had a nytro or apex i would be getting a set of curves. And since you are in NY give Excell motorsport a call ask Aaron what he thinks 315-691-6916. I think they have some good deals going on curves too..

I have powderhounds and I must say I like them a lot. My only gripe is in deep powder they steer almost too hard, its nice to have a sled that actually steers in the deep stuff but its a work out. On the trail they are superb.

In all the skis I have found these fit my riding the best and the closest to being a good on and off trail ski.
