My buddy just picked up a new Sno Stuff Rumble Pack for his APEX GT and asked me if he needs the Power Commander, or can he simply install it and ride it? I was not sure as I have the Bender Exhaust on my Nytro, but was not sure of that pipe on the Apex. Anybody know?

I run the sno stuff exhaust on my 06 RTX. No need to add fuel programmer unless he added more air(ramair) as well. It did cause a slight blurp off the hop since the pipe. Not noticable enough to not warrant the sound!!

i dont think a programmer is necessary for a pipe and intake... at all

The Sno Stuff Rumble pack is designed for a stock setup

Yup, run it.. You can gain more from the air box mod and fuel controller but you don't need it..

oh ok. I was under the impression that the stock fuel/air management could not compensate for all that extra air and exhaust flow..i thaught that's why you get some hesitation when you add exhaust??.. huh

I run the SnoStuff exhaust and love it. Great sound with no missing or burping. The sound is amazing when you crack the throttle, yet acceptable when riding through the towns. I have not been hassled by the DNR - YET.........................
