I'm looking for the post that shows the mod to extend out your snow flap? I bought new flap and want it to last this time.
Someone made some sort of bracket that held the flap out more on the 136?
Thanks.

Get a 144 tunnel extension??? ~$150
Muffinworks
Hartman
Tracks USA
I have read that one or 2 members drilled out the stock extension and reinstalled it at more of an angle thereby raising the bumper off the ground.

the 144 tunnel would mean larger trailer.

A lot of places sell snowflap savers. They are wire supports that affix behind the flap to the bolts and hang down, but block the flap from sucking into the track. They are like $10 and work. Look around and you will find them.
If you do a search there are a few people that modified the stock tunnel extension. They tapered it up so it has a even slant with the tunnel rather then sitting lower then the tunnel and it looks 10x better.

if you buy the 07 or newer snow flap braket they are tapered out away from sled. they updated them from the 06. I've replaced mine on my 07 RTX and they are around $35 from dealer....
Thanks for the great input.
