Snow Flap Savers - New Product

Here is something new we have been working on....I was tired of always worrying about wrecking my snow flap when backing up my sled, it seems that no matter how careful you are there is always that one time you forget, and then you know how it goes..... and now with our Polished Stainless snow flap plates we knew we had to do something. The funny thing is, once I started looking around at other sleds, almost everyone I saw had marks on their snow flaps.

Here is what we came up with, they are 2 arms that bolt onto your sled using your bumper bolts, so they are really easy to install, and you don't have to drill any holes in your sled. Basically they stop the snow flap from bending back into your track, but they have no restriction on your flap bending outwards.

I have been testing them on my REV, and I have backed into everything I could find, I was pretty much plowing snow in reverse with my sled, and the new snow flap I installed still looks new.

Another benefit that I discovered with these, on one of my rides my sled got stuck pretty bad in a couple of feet of fresh powder, and when we went to lift the rear of the sled up the snow flap savers were like a handle down there, when you get stuck like that your snow flap gets pushed right against your bumper, so there is nothing to grab onto.

I think they look pretty good on the sled as well, a lot of people use the strap from the bumper, which also works, but looks terrible in my opinion.

We have them available for the REV & REV RT sleds, and the Yamaha Nytro's, we are working on the REV XP sleds as we speak, and hope to have them available for purchase in the next week or so.

Cost: $40 per kit (includes 2 arms, and 4 new longer bumper bolts)

Nice and simple. Looks good to me.

After I shredded the bottom of mine, I just cut it off on that line. No more problems. Less snow build up under tunnel too.

I don't believe they make them for the Apex/Vectors? ( asked a while back and was told no)

We will be looking into the other Yamaha models to see if we can make one for them as well.

 

[Super Sled]

I'd be interested for my 07 Attak GT. Would ordering them powder coated black to match the tunnel be asking too much???
