Anyone notice that the nytro throws tons of snow on your face?

I have noticed that when jumping, or going over rolls and lofting the front end a bit, the snow gets directed right at my head. It seems like the nytro is designed specifically for this purpose.

Anyone else notice this? It is almost getting annoying. Not sure what would fix this though, besides some large body modifications.

Man I wish my Nytro could throw snow in my face right now. lol I havent rode it yet but I cant wait.

I agree with you that the sled does shovel the snow right at your face. I wonder if you take the windshield off if it would help any?

I have my windshield removed, doesn't help nor hurt at all.

The snow is coming from the skis. I think the problem is that you can see most of the skis, therefore, the snow can see you too.. and tries to get you.. lol. I am going to have to think about ways to hide them. ha ha

Note that I am not having a problem with carving or anything like that. The problem is when both skis are in the air and then they come down hard. If the snow is fresh or soft, the result is a face full of snow. It is nice and refreshing, till you stop being able to tell where you are going.

Get taller! LOL Yeah I have the same prob as well and always end up blind on landings. I always ran no windshield and have one on now but it seems just as bad either way. It seems like the front end dives more than I would like it to, but not sure what you could do about it since its a rider forward sled with a heavy engine. I was hitting about a 20 foot step up last weekend side by side with a Edge and he was launching it great as I would basically plow into it till it launched me streight up. Very common for me.

Heres some snow in the face filming for TS9.......enjoy.

I've noticed it comes up fast on the inside of the ski right between the lower and upper a-arms. . . . .I had moved to Curve's for other reasons but a side benny I'm finding is less snow in the face. . . .who knew :dunno:

Are the XTX ski's the same as the MTX? Im wanting something that floats a little better for jumping but the MTX ski's are huge so Im not sure I can get much better flotation other that putting it on a bigger diet this summer.

This season we were working a bit more on "flight patterns" while riding out in the Snowies - building ramps at the top of downhill "fade-a-ways" with about 100ft or so of run in.

I was pretty happy with the stability of the Curve's on both take-off as well as landing's with a distance in the air of about 40-50ft.

They track well and stay flat - landings are very controlled and stable.

Is snow in the face...A bad thing.. :moon: .lol...Gee you poor guys.. :whine: :whine: ...Just kidding...Makes it more thrilling going through the trees... ;)! .lol...but I found that too on my friends Nytro in just a foot of pow..

Just to clarify, it isn't really a problem in powder snow, it is a problem in spring slush and only when the front end comes down kind of hard. It feels like someone is throwing snowballs at my face. My goggles get completely covered.
