I have been running “SLIM JIMS” 6” on a 14 and 18 viper LTX GT, and one year on a 19 SIDEWINDER LTX GT. People I ride with, talked me into trying a pair of semi- aggressive SNOW TRACKERS. I bought a pair at the Syracuse show last weekend. I’m looking for feedback from anyone who has experience with them on a winder.
Thanks,
HANK

I have been running the slim jims. I am finding it hard to NOT buy another pair. The only thing I hate is I sometimes get rocks stuck in them.

I have ran just about every Skag out there and for the past 8 years snow trackers have been my choice. Nothing compares. Just watch it when crossing train tracks.

How did you like Stud Boy Deuce bars?
how do the snow trackers hold up to rocks, mud, low snow, trailer loading and road crossings?
It just seems like a lot of iron hanging from that ski. I run in VT. We have a ton of road crossings….

Hate when stones get stuck in them!!! Happened to me 4 or 5 times last year. Good thing for the screw driver in the tool kit!
Looking for a better option in my curve skis

I have a 129 Winder with 5.7 pilots and aggressive snow trackers. 1 season on this set up, very happy with it.

This set of Tracker / carbide, have done approximately 12 oookm .... I just need new carbide. I have tried different style of ski and carbide but always come back to snowtracker for trail ridding. Would i chose this setup for cross contry racing? Sure not! They not perform really well in loose stuff and If push to hard they have tendance to kick whitout notice. Riding Tracker on the trail remember me to stay calm and just enjoy the smooth ride...lol.

I used the cat ski with the same set up you have on my 18 SW 137. I tried the fancy skis and they dont come close. Snow trackers are great for trails and have a positive turning and easy steering. They also stay sharp all the time cause the carbide is so thin. I have heard they will last a long time. I got 2000 miles and they look almost new still. Dont drive them on the soft lawn!

I run Aggressive SnowTrackers on Doo 5.7 single keel race skis and love them. Single keel helps with the push in soft snow some over a dual keel. I’ve tried them all and SnowTracker is my favorite setup bar none. Never been a fan of the semi-aggressive however, I like the Aggressives better.

Slim Jims are a nice all around set up. Snow trackers in my opinion are one step better than the slim jims. You won't be disappointed. Semi work fantastic, and are more forgiving than the aggressive. With aggressive if you experience a moment of push in the corner, you better be ready when they bite again.

Trackers are awsome for aggressive trail riding!!
Just make sure you set skis parallel (0 camber) and tighten up center shock!! Bring tools to adjust center shock on you first ride to dial them in!!
I've always started with lots of spring preload on center shock and loosen 1 to 2 turns at a time until I have the perfect combination of light steering and 0 pushing corners!!
Take your time and do small adjustments to center shock and you will find the."sweet spot"
