Has anyone tried these snow trackers on a Vector LTX? I'm thinking of purchasing these for my wife's 08 Vector LTX GT with 108 studs but I want to know if they're worth the money?
On my venture (144") i do. (semi-agressive) About since mid last season. I am missing my Deuce a little. Don't get me wrong, this is a good product but beaten by a better one IMO. One the down side.... it offer too much restriction but the biggy is that in some circumstances there is a response lag of say.. third of a a sec.. just once in a while....that's the one which kill me (...or can ?
) All in all, a runner set is only as good with a front tuning setup.. which i have not mess with too much. I will give it another chance, and start this season with and if the conditions are on the rought side then too bad... this will force a new set of Deuce sooner. Since for each one his own riding style, if goodbye darting is top goal then it does the job.

Thanks aVenture for your input. Did you set your sled up according to snow tracker (very little ski pressure)? How do they hold up to the occasional hidden rock on the trail? The metal plate seems like it would easily bend. Anyone else have anything to say about these snow trackers?

I run them on my Apex and they are great!Had a set of cobras and a set of 8"doolies and the the extreme snow trackers are the best.I have been up logging roads and down bare roads with only a chip out of the carbide that stay sharp .My buddy says that there is sparks flying ever ware from the snow trackers .I don't think that they are as durable as the doolies would be but they are easier to steer which is nice on the heavy Apex which I can"t keep my GF from wanting to ride over the SRX is a great trail sled.

I have the semi aggressive on my 2010 LTX (no studs) and they correct all the problems I had with rut steer befor. No matter how rutted the trail is it
has none of the rut steer it had befor . It seems to steer easier and doesn't push when cornerring.
The durability is excellent.

Do you guys all agree that they eliminate the push when going into corners hard?

I have over four thousand mi on my first set of extreme's and have the trail version's on my sons 07 Phazer and now on my wifes 07 Phazer. They do not hunt/dart in rutted trail's period. Just make sure you don't have any shim's or ski saver's on, Just the stock ski's and stock rubber ski damper's and they will give you a whole new enjoyment in snowmobiling. If you are not an aggressive rider get the trail version and they will steer a little easier. I have tried every thing else on the market for hunting/tracking and i am here to tell you the tracker's are the best thing going. kviper

Last i heard they are only made for OEM ski's. Put your stock ski's back on with tracker's and your problem's will be solved, I know i bought ski's as well as all kind's if wear bar's bla bla bla what a wast of money.

I went from Pilots to stock skis with semi aggressive snow trackers and couldn't keep up with touring sleds because of pushing in the corners!

Then get the aggressive set. There is nothing else that will corner like the aggressive's AND go where you point them.

Agree with Kviper...I have the Aggressive and they rail corners and no darting at all. the only problem I have had is one time last year after leaving a gas stop in VT. the trail crossed a road at a railroad track diagonally.. the snow trackers are wider than the keel of the ski creating a channel...it caught the rail flipped my sled on it's side and it started sliding down the track. It was a good thing I was going slow and the road had fresh snow in it the sled didn't get a scratch. Make sure you cross RR tracks at 90 degrees! I have tried C and A skis and they steered way to hard. Don't go with the Semis these machines are to heavy.

I have a Vector LTX and Apex LTX...
On the Apex, you need the aggressive snow trackers to avoid pushing in corners, but on the Vector, i prefer the semi-aggressive snow trackers.. i find the aggressive one a little "high" off the ground.. but both eliminate darting, and i didn't have much trouble with catching rocks so far...
On my Apex, i put on arrow skis and they work great for me..
