Snowflap/sheet metal bracket issue.

The sheet metal that the snowflap connects to broke in half out on the trail yesterday causing the snowflap to fall off. What do you guys suggest replacing the sheet metal with? Something a little stronger/durable.

Should you go with a Yamaha part. The rx1 side steel versus the apex that used aluminum.

I fabricated a heavier 1/8" alum one ..... no issues since.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Got it all set. A buddy had an old road sign laying around ended up fabricating it out of that. Much more durable.

I just used diamond checker plate aluminum, strong + looks good
