I'm curious to know which type of lift you like best and why. I've been looking on eBay and have seen 2 different styles:
1. The 4 point frame scissor type lift that collapses down to around 4-5" flat and raises the sled by the pickup points being under the footrests and bellypan.
2. The flat lift frame, also scissor type lift that picks up everything with a floating floor scenario where the track is still not suspended. The lift has an optional rear attachment that has a hoist contraption to lift the back end of the sled for getting the track suspended.
With both being similar in price, I'm leaning toward option 2. Give me the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I have #1. Works for most things. Don't know if you can pull skid out while on it. I found another way not using lift.

The skeleton lift is what I have and it works well, but the stand lift seems nice, but you definitely want the work hoist piece also so you can lift the track or the nose so you can work on ski's or the track. The stand also makes oil changes a little more challenging, but whatever. I imagine the stand is stronger and less likely to rack.

I have three sled lifts; two Easy Move long track lifts and one no-name brand I bought online back in 2003. All of them are like #1 in your description. The reason I have 3 and prefer lifts of this type is that I also use them when storing the sleds in the off season. With the pickup points being on the belly pan and tunnel/footrest, it allows the sled to be lifted while also taking pressure off the front and rear shocks and springs which I feel aids in their longevity. Probably doesn't help you now but at the Novi Snow show, I was able to pick up the Easy Move lift which included the drill-kit, hand crank, and the long track handles (taller handles allow sled to be lifted evenly instead of having the rear of the sled angled down towards the ground) for $275 cash out the door. With these lifts, I can remove the suspension and do oil changes. The only problem I have with doing oil changes is that they are normally on the stand when I start so I have to lower it in order to remove the skid plate.

Trick lift made outa Minnesota Works well. But buy the rear feet extender for newer forward style sleds.
Only thing i don't like is I cant use it for oil changes and I need to put the sled on buckets. I drove straight there and picked it up from his manufacturing shop. He cut me a deal because I was local.
I think it was 300 with the extra tool for drill and feet.

- 2016 RS Vector XTX 1.25 Lug wifes..2013 RS Vector LTX.. 2003 600 VMax Past Machines 3-2007 Attaks 1-2010 Vector LTX.. sorry no Stinkdoos or poo's cats.
I've had the Eazy Move Snowmobile stand like above for years for my Attak's and wifes Vector LtX.. has worked great. Have the long track version. Takes a beating as these machines are heavy.
The Red lift is the best I feel for all around work on the machines. I can do just about everything with it. You set the front cross bar just behind the skid plate and you can do oil changes, etc.

Chain fall from the ceiling works way better than any lift.

You can also get an electric winch from Northern tool for short money. I use a table lift in conjunction with an electric winch above.
That table lift in the picture looks to have a limited use. Get the motorcycle table lift with the side extensions. I put casters on mine and can roll it around.

Absolutely!!!
These threads always make me wonder.
i own a lift and struggle to get anything done with it. Seems the lift is always in the way.
I prefer a chain fall to a lift any day of the week.
