Found another thread on the subject but the only two posts contradicted each other so i will ask.
Just installed a pair of the aggressive snowtrackers. Set up the rear spring to my weight and set the front shocks with almost no preload, tried to get the a-arms parallel with the ground.
Should I make any other adjustments? Go up a hole on the limiter strap? Transfer rod adjustment?
2008 apex gt.
Thank you

Where did you get them and how much did you pay? Did you put them on stock skis? I have a set of Pilots with shaper bars. I am wondering if I should add the snowtracker to these or put them on my stock skis? I could sell my Pilots to get the snowtrackers

dont put the snowtrackers on Pilots. Haven't had much luck with them. Putting stockers back on with trackers
Will sell mine if interested. Tryed ever adjustment possible. Really push in corners. Dont seem to bite

I will see if I can find some for my stockers I still have them. I am sure I can find someone to buy my Pilots with shaper bars on them. They dont dart but I want something with a bit more bite and not have to put the weight on the skis. Any suggestions where to buy?

In Canada I would buy from Royal Distributing. They ship to the USA as well believe.
Tried semi aggressive on a stock 2009 vector with stock skis yesterday and they rail. With aggressive should be perfect for me. Still have very light steering feel as well like the Pilots

I find with my semi's on my stock skis when travelling straight, sometimes in someones tracks the skis will kind of tick tock back and forth a tiny bit, not all the time tho, depends on condtions I guess. Steering still feel slight, but even with the snowtrakkers it still doesn't bite like my wifes Apex, with plain ol woods duallys. Would mine being the ltx have any bearing on steering feeling lighter. Sorry for the ? On your post!!

YES HAVING THE LONGER TRACK WILL EFFECT THE PUSH.
HAVE YOU TRIED SHORTNING FRONT LIMITER STRAP. yOU CAN GO 1 OR TWO HOLES SHORTER.
AS WELL CHECK ADJUSTMENT OG TRANSFER ROD. tHE LESS TRANSFER THE BETTER THE FRONT SKI PRESSURE. MINE IS SET BETWEE MIN. AND THE HALF WAY POINT ON THEADJUSTING TOOL.
WORKS BEST FOR ME. I HAVE MY APEX STRETCHED TO 128 "

I got same thing going on with my LTX studded 3 per window. It tends to push in corners and is sometimes caught in other ski paths. Have tried all adjustments and last step is to take some studs out but don't want to loose traction. Kind of stuck.....May just sell it and get another Apex with 128". My other two 121" Apexs handle so nice compared to my LTX all with snowtrackers. The LTX still darts sometimes.

I have an Attak with 2 studs per row. Front springs set to zero preload, big boy spring at "1" on the second clip, transfer set at min and limiter strap in stock position. With my weight ( 200pds fully dressed) I find the sled rails thru the corners and tracks as straight as an arrow on the trails.
The Attak out handles my stock settings 08 121 Vector with Snowtrackers (aggressive).

Sorry but I totally disagree, I've run aggressive snowtrackers on my 6.9 Pilots for 3 seasons now and love the combination. I think a pilot ski works better on an apex then it does on a Skidoo.(just my opinion, I think it's the weight of the front end) My riding partner on an apex gt, went to semi aggressive trackers on 5.7 pilots last season after being disappointed after buying the yammy tuners and has never looked back.

I have the 5.7 pilots. They steer better with straight carbides than with snow trackers. Tried this set up back to back same day same conditions. The snow trackers completly cover up the bottom of the ski. Tried my brother inlaws vector with stock yamaha skis and semi snowtrackers and it rails. Played with every adjustment possible. As well the mounting hole on the pilot is larger than bolt diameter and it allows the ski to rock side to side as well.
Have new skis coming tomorrow and trackers
