So how strong do you think the Nytro is compared to say the Apex if it takes a hard hit with a rock or a fall???

Nobody really knows because most people haven't been able to put it through it's paces. That being said, I have to assume that they will be comparable. My hope is that the suspension on the Nytro will be far and above the Apex.
Just my .02, I will let you know in January.

Just came off a IQ and was very happy with how it help up and worked with some hits in the rocks A-arms folded but not one bulkhead tweak also the suspension was by far the best I have been on with the IQ.

I just don't know if the Nytro arms will be as tough as the APEX. Apex has the same arms as the RX-1 and here's a hit my RX-1mtn made with no damage taken by the sled. That tree was standing perfectly upright prior to the incident. The tree base is under the right a-arm (about even with me) in the pic.

nice hit, glad you had no damage too.
Did you hit it square on the arm, or mostly with the nose of the sled?

I don't know and hope to never find out. Having both chassis the feature I like about the Nytro is that it uses a tube steel front clip where the shocks and a-arms are attached. The whole thing can be unbolted and replaced. Looks like an easier job than with the Deltabox chassis.

It just grazed the corner of the bumper. It never got the top a-arm though because I hammered the throttle and tried to wheelie into it so the skid plate coud take the hit. I missed with the skid plate and hit it mostly with the lower a-arm.
These ar however MPI's cr-moly a-arms. They have taken this tree shot and a boulder hit that put me over the bars (peeling the windshield right off the hood) with no damage. My stockers folded the first time I found a boulder.
