Sold 04 RX1 to friend want to set it up

It has 10 inch carbides original skis I have adjusted front and rear preload also played with te limiter strap all to try and stop the darting the only thing that worked was shimming the front ski rubbers at the rear of the block but Iwant to make it right I kmow he will buy skis if I told him

Buy a set of Stud Boy Deuce dual carbides or Woody's Dooly (dually) dual carbides and bolt them right up. Guys have been raving about how well they work on the Apex and Attack forums.

How long should they be 6 or 8 inches

You can get carbides in 4, 6 or 8 inches. I guess it all depends on how much ice is typically on the trails where you ride.
