Guys,

I just sold my sled and swore to everyone who asked why...(for the third season in a row ) that I would take a few years off and spend more time during the winter with the kids.

But I have to tell you...that 2005 RX-1 looks Sweeeeet. I love it! I loved my 03' but the rear skid really gave me troubles (too stiff). Guys, If I buy another sled, I don't know how it will go over!

Before I make any serious descisions....I would just like to stand up and say....

My Name is RXWonder......and I have an addiction to sledding!

LMFAO guys! Thanks for the offer Green....Suisse... The socks and underwear will keep me warm on those frosty nights that you guys are out forcing Dukester to ride till he gets Pneumonia....

Welter I got $7350 Cdn ($5600 US) for my sled with 5000 Miles on it. I did let the saddle bags go with it. I also had extroverts and a 9833 but I really got my use out of the sled. Some would think it's quite a hit, but most guys that have maybe 1500-2000 miles and are only getting $500-$750 more than I did. You can buy a Brand New leftover 2003 ER here in Ontario for around $7995 Cdn. The market is really weird right now so I decided to sell before the season ended rather than risk taking my lumps next Fall.

I wouldn't have sold it for less than $7000.

RX, if you were really addicted you wouldn't be talking about taking a few years off. Or did you know you would have severe withdrawals when you were considering that? LOL

I think you got a real good price for it... Where i live.. NO ONE will touch a used sled ,, let alone one with over 3500 miles(thats where they start breaking stuff)

I bought my brand new warrior for 7800us but i have heard some dealers selling for even less..7400us.

I have a friend that just bought a 02 left over xcsp 600 for $4350 OTD..

Oh yeah...I knew the withdrawls would start immediately.

Yeah OK it's been a few weeks and ....I have some severe withdrawl going on here....I can't stay off this site and I can't keep away from the Yamaha 05' Website......I can't figure it out but I have visons of CANDY APPLES MOTORING by my head!  What does this mean?

If you want to get really pissed I am getting $8600 in trade plus 15% tax exemption which equals almost $10,000 for my 03 136". You sold yours for $7,000 right.

Jim

$7500 bone stock...To be honest if I was buying another sled I would have got close to what you did for yours...probably $8000 on trade. The benefit to us trading in is the tax savings. You can't beat that. Considering the market for used sleds right now I did pretty good.

I sold all my aftermarket stuff privately so that got me an extra $500 on top of the $7500. My downfall was the mileage...I had just over 5000 MILES  on mine which made it a tough sell. How many miles on yours? What did you end up buying?

Only 800 due to hip. Torn between Vector e/r or RX1 e/r. I will be riding the Vector in a couple weeks but no 05 RX1s available for testing. I just don't understand why 2 different rear suspensions on the RS and RX, which is better and what is the difference in the ride. I understand the difference in the front suspensions but not the rear.

I may or may not extend either one to a 136".

Wow..at first I thought you did really well if you had like 2500 miles or so....but only 800 miles... I would say the dealer is the one who got the deal :?

RXHALLER..Welcome to the group
