Seems like you would have to have one heck of an air supply to keep up with all those cycles!

I'm an engineer and yes that is one hell of an idea but I don't see it being very reliable. Yeah it might sound like a good idea to have air powered valves but those suckers would be moving a lot and very fast. Also if just one valve is off by a millisecond boom your motor needs work and with that motor i would guess it would be very expensive.

I would guess that the power you gained would be negated by the energy required to compress the air to power the valves.
