Winder cool down - is running the motor at idle necassary

My thinking on cooling is not the Turbo cause they are designed and built for the changes in heat they go thur… Iam more concerned with the motor getting proper cool down and not shutting it off after a hard pull without letting it idle for a short period. As always very valid points made here…
