I was going to add some of our pics Indy. The attachment is too big, even for just one picture.

mine were too small (story of my life). I havent figured out the digital cameras yet. Now my phone takes pictures. Its all getting to high tech for me.

I had too many megapixels for putting them online. I always use the highest megapixels instead of VGA so I can put these pictures on to paper later and have a better resolution.

Get decent image software, and you can do things like crop the pictures (making the file size smaller), resize them (making the picture AND the file size smaller), and compress them (making the file size smaller). That makes them easy to e-mail and post to the web without worrying about them being too big or the e-mail taking forever to send them. I use Piant Shop Pro, but there are many others, some free off the web.

If you have Windows XP here's what I do:
1. Open the photo in MS Picture and Fax Viewer (Windows XP)
2. Hit Ctrl E (for edit)
3. Hit Ctrl W (for what I don't know)
4. Change the 100% values to 40-50% (depends on original resolution)
5. Save as what ever you want to call it.
