So i went for a sled ride the other day, it was really cold out, coldest i have ever took it out. I had a hard time starting it, but it started not to bad. But halfway through my ride i stopped, and shut-off my Apex. I go to restart it 10 min later, i can hear that the fuel pump isn't turning on, but i hear that switch on the clutch side by the foot-wells still making that clicking sound. So i didn't really know what to do, so i just pulled out on of the 4 switches to have a look at them and i must have done something right because the fuel pump came on and the sled started fine. Any ideas? Eas it just because it was so cold out, it was about -33C.

8FP-81950-01 was the # on the box, has an extra -00 on the microfiche in the parts book. Says that it superceedes the 8FP.....00-00. I was looking at the parts finder in the headings above and it is on old one. The parts cat that I used was in the Port Yamaha site.

Is the relay one of the switches on the right side by the footwell? It looks like there is 4 or 5 of them last time i looked, which one is for the fuel pump?

On my 06 Attak the relays r on the lft side sitting on the machine above the left footwhell. Mine was the second one from the tunnel but some others r in different locations on the mount. There r 4 of them fuel pp/starter/fan relays all have 4 terminals, the other relay has 5 terminals is 4 the headlight Hi/Low. U'll just have to turn the ignition on and feel the relays and find the one that clicks when u do so. I moved mine 2 the outside one and marked it with an FP so that it would easier to check if I have that problem again.
