Lucky! Hopefully my FX will be here in a few weeks.
I ordered it on Tuesday and they said it would be a few weeks, so Im guessing its probably somewhere in Japan right now...

The new Phazers use a CR9EKB spark plug stock. This plug is I believe a new performance plug for motorsports applications as most aftermarket parts suppliers currently don't carry them. They are available through Yamaha and retail for around $13 each. The Apex based sleds use a plug similar to these (CR9EB) just without the K. The K in the Phazer plug stands for a dual electrode design and the B stands for a solid top.

When you say they are a "dual electrode", do you mean they are similar to a Splitfire spark plug?

Does anyone know how to get to the plugs. My wife's GT came 3 weeks ago and I checked into everything except plugs. I couldn't figure out how to get to them.

I finally called my dealer and he said when he puts the next one together hell check it out and let me know when I bring it in to have my accessories installed. I wonder when the accessories will come in. Most likely December I suppose. I have some bags and skid plate coming and the bigger front bumper as the wife tends to tailgate!!

my dealer said that to get at the plugs you need to take off the top panel by the steering post. he showed me, its a pain in the but. hope I DON'T have to do it out on the trail. as for accesories they'll get them quick I got my skid plate in a week

I took off the front panel under the lights but could barely see the engine. Is that the panel? If its way up by the key I wouldn't have a clue how to get that off.
I ordered my accessories when I spring ordered my sled. I'd better call my dealer to see what the hold up is. IF its him I won't be too happy.

My delaer said you'd have to remove the headlight assembly to get the plugs...definatley something you won't want to do out on the hill or trail...

Thanks, Most likely never have to do that on the trail but you sure want to be prepared.
the best way to do this is pull seat and gas tank off. the angle of the plugs will make it very difficult to do it from the front 2 bolts for the seat 2 for the tank 1 fuel line on tank and 1 vent hose on tank and the plugs are easy to get out then just had my off and the angle is alot better from that side.
