wanted to say thank you to jim (lakercr) for helping me assemble my engine.had to do a complete rebuild,deal with missing oil restrictors which jim cut open a old block and sent me the part i needed [yamaha don't make it,have to buy a new block] i was able to rebuild this motor with his emails,phone calls and this website.jim is a true stand up guy,i owe him huge.thanks again jim,drinks on me in old forge

Swiss - I seem to remember there was a guy from MN closing down the bars with me on that trip. He posts here a fair bit and could really use a new trailer, do you remember his name....?

yea late last night we fired up.the beers tasted so good took me alittle longer to get everything together.not sure if it was the fumes or the beers but i was staggering around pretty good by the end.the rebuild went very well,not hard just takes alot of time.i feel alot better knowing i can rebuild one of these now.
