Finally was able to do a few runs with the radar gun for max speed. sled specs are in my sig. I'm 6" at 210 lbs.
1st run- 144 km/h
2nd run- 144 km/h
3rd run- 143 km/h
results of a 10' stock xtx nytro, 5,8' rider at approx. 160-165 lbs.
1st run 141 km/h
2nd run 140 km/h
3rd run 141 km/h
guess Chris Smidht was right when he said top speed will improve 3-5 mph. Pull in mid range was wicked.
Most other sleds were Mxz 800, they ran from 138-142 km/h, seen one at 146 km/h
Saw a Mxz 1200 who maxed at 146 km/h.

Was the 800 MXZ an etec or powertek?

I had a max speed of 88.6 mph in 600'. Non-studded and a packed snow track.

89 mph is what I got so we are in the same ballpark. mxz were powertech and some previous engine, no etec showed up, snow was packed with groomer at the beginning but came looser in no time. distance I'm not 100% sure but sled was at max speed, track is studded. Radar was not moving, stationary. not sure if 140 km/h is low but most sled up there were in the 138-140, a Turbo F1000 with 300hp running on jet fuel had 175 km/h. The speed gun said 144 km/h and my gauge was dead on too.
