Had the 04 Warrior out for the first time this weekend for a short ride and noticed the Speedo was bouncing up and down and not indicating the proper speed. Any ideas? I unplugged and plugged back in the instrument connector; but, that didn’t change anything.
 

That is usually a tall tale sign your drive axle bearing is either going bad or is bad. If it gets too bad, the gear on the end of the drive axle that is used for measuring your speed will chew into the speed sensor and hence your sporadic speedometer.
 
Coincidently, MrSled just posted a how-to video and obtained this screen grab of him pointing to the gear and drive axle bearing. Although the Apex is newer than your Warrior, the process of replacing the drive axle bearing would be the same:
