speedo question?

Because I went to 9 tooth drivers on my mtn my speedo is off and they only way to correct it is to buy a new pod for a shorty? And so right now is my speedo reading higher than it really is or lower because of the 9 tooth.I ask because the other day I opened her up up on a lake till she hit 110mph. Just want to know if it was running faster or slower than that. Is there a formula ton use so I can check my track speed when climbing and be somewhat close.Don`t want to have to buy a new pod/speedo.

a fix for your speedo question

All you need to do is buy the Yellow box speedo recalibrator, 3-wire model from www.MotorcycleRadar.com or call them at 1-508-829-3339.
I have allready installed one in my sled and works great and very easy to install.
The guy i talked to was larry sieminski.

Did you install this because of a change you made to the sled or simply to correct the factory speedo inaccuracy? How much was it off?
