Does anyone use one of these:

I was wondering if this bracket will interfere with the use of the windshield bag. It seems to move the speedo pod down and out of harms way which is what I'm after but I would still like to be able to use the windshield bag. I know some are turning the mounting bracket upside down but this for sure looks like it makes the bag unusable.
I was riding with a friend the other day and he flipped his MTX. The windshield and speedo pod both took a hit and broke the plastic around the mounting bolts on the speedo pod. Not a nice sight and I would hate to have it happen to me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Don't know about the above bracket, but have you tried flipping your stock bracket upside down? That should drop your gage a few inches and save you close to $80.

I thought about doing that but would it not prevent me from using the windshield bag?

Yep, any of the gauge relocation brackets will prevent you from using a windshield bag. I bought this roll over bar so I could use a windshield bag. Haven't tested it yet though

When I relocated the gage from the dash to my handlebar riser on my Nytro, I used a Phazer bracket. I cut a piece off the bracket, couple of inches maybe, so that only one hole would be available to bolt it to the riser. If you did the same on your Phazer, you should be able to lower it some. Take a look at your sled to see if this is feasible.

Or you could relocate the gage to the "rider side" of the handlebar risers. I have my gps mounted here and it seems to be protected from a potential rollover, works well.

Thanks guys for the different ideas. I'm not sure which way I'll go yet. I hate to blow $80 on a bracket and it not do what I want.
