Spoked wheels; Are they as strong?

Just received the spoked accessory wheels and when looking at them compared to stock they don't look as durable or as strong due with less material. Anyone with experience or problems with the spoked? I have a buddy that used aluminum spoked wheels a couple of years ago and damaged both rear ones at separate times. They both had flat spots I guess from some impact.

I installed the spoke wheels last year and they are very strong and durable.Don't think you will have any problems.

No problems and I had them on for over 4,000 hard miles.

5,500 miles on mine last year with no problems.
Changed all bearings in them this fall though.

Did you use the Canadian version of the spoked wheels, SMA-8FU38, and are the bearings replaceable?
