Did they say when the performance dampers are coming in. My dealer keeps calling me to pickup my new sled but if the dampers aren't on it then I will have to make to many trips to the dealer.Picked up my 16 ltx le yesterday and they said the peformance damper will be coming later and the ogio bag will be mailed to me. Hoping this is true and im wondering if i would have to bring it back to have the peformance damper installed

I guarantee almost all aftermarket exhausts are WAY louder than stock at WOT....and in the U.P. that's where most sleds are running
You have your opinion, I have two Vipers to test side by side.

The dealer told me today that Yamaha is going to send the performance dampers and the bag to me after I pickup my sled. I am hoping to pick it up on Saturday.

The answer is yes and no. 4 stroke have a wide torque band so being out of the perfect rpm isn't that bad. I say that as my Viper has been from 5k to 14k with the same clutch. Yeah at low altitude I couldn't run it flat out because of the rev limiter but I was only there for 2 days so I didn't care enough to go to all the trouble of changing. Now if you are like NOS-PRO and your sled has to be perfect everywhere then yes change for the trip. But if it was me I would just deal with being about 800 rpm low.
