More than one inside source says it is heat treating error and a bulletin from Yamaha is forthcoming. I thought it might be triple cylinder balancing like the old Yamaha motorcycle triples but it is not.

2016 LTX LE with MPI trail turbo, about 900 miles and no issues.

I'm taking my mpi turboed 2016 on my two week trip to the up. It has 2 miles on it right now, I'll be in the area of newberry,

when I get home I am having 3 cancer tumors removed from my lung 3rd time in for surgery. This sled is going to run great with no problems if any of you are in the area and want to ride that would be great.

Trip is over mother nature helped out at beginning of trip now more snow melt 1500 absolutely trouble free miles on 16 mpi trubo not even an adjustment made just hauled #*$&@ the whole trip.
