Rx1M5, i just talked to my dad on the phone...he mentioned what you wrote above. Thats awesome and thx for the help...sry to spring this on you. ill get you a bottle or something for the service manual and all your hard work. 
also Frosty im not sure what jets are in it now...im guessing stock. (what ever that is)
the sled now is at my dads and hes going to be doing all the work...im letting him know all that is being said here. Wish I could be up there to do it. Cant wait to get this prob fixed. I have the sled itch.

GUKROKIT...haha i was just replying as you were. didnt see the pics till now...thx for those. you also have an air vent for your belt on the first pic?
and where did you get your little filters?
And just to make sure...
You took the little screens out of the carbs and they are now replaced with the fuel filters you show in the pics?

Yes I did install a vent on the belt gaurd to help keep the clutches cool.Vent lines up with the one on the hood so you need some prefilter material inside the hood for powder riding.If I recall correctly the little screens were under the main jet holder in the carbs.Didn't make sense to me to trap debris at that location.The external filters Iused were just the run-of -mill clear filters available at any sled shop or snowmobile catalogue.(5/16 inlet and outlet )Shutoffs by motion pro out of dennis kirk.

Well ive tried cleaning carbs. No difference.
I took the carbs apart and inside, the piece where the main jet sits inside, all 4 of the "O" rings were damaged (one even ripped apart) so I went and bought new ones. The main Jets were 130's so I changed them to 135's and the Fuel screws were set to 1.5 turns and I changed them to 1 7/8.
My alt here is about 2000ft.
and zero change. The sled still when I get to about 6000 rpm and gun it...still sputters and burps.
when I get to 6000 rpm i floor the gas and it basically sits at 7000rpm for realistically 2-3 secs then goes up just a bit...then i stop.
Some guys said that if the sled was ran to lean that I possibly blew a piston.
Anything you guys think would be great.
Im just waiting for Paul (Rx1M5)to check it out and see what he thinks.

Go buy some dielectric silicone and put it all over the inside and outside of your sparkplug boots and try that. I had a sputter mid range and this cured it. And it is a cheap test.

Road my sled for the first time since the fix.....and for the first time since i bought it I finally got to feel what the RX-1 is all about.....

Hows it stack up against the Doo now. Did you lean out the needles? Are the 135's Ok check the plugs after a while.

and Paul we havent touched anything on the sled yet...just want to wait till the last day, so we dont screw it up....haha...and yeah 135's are great has lots of power...still not near as fast as my brothers sled...his is pretty quick..
He has a 121 track as well....and on the lake im spinning like a crack $#%@$.
but im on the look out for an ECP kit and EVAC kit....also going to look for some new MTN type Skis. Prob the ones that b1gmtn told me about. Also going to look for a tunnel extension. lots of things to do...i might do what Kuchess did to the speedo and the bars..just debating....
