We have a 2006 Vector with circa 1200 miles. It has the rip saw track without studs and 6" carbides up front. On straight stretches at trail speeds, the sled feels lose. The front feels "jittery" and the back feels like it sways. All suspension settings are factory stock. What suspension adjustments or other changes can be made to straighten out the ride? My wife is afraid she will end up in the trees.

Your answer is right at the top , second line down, of this forum. What you are describing is darting. Link; http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?t=24455 You might want to add some studding as well. 96 down the center of your track will help with a more planted feel from the rear end. The ski shim mod has been done to everyone of my sleds. Really helps with the darting and evens out the wear on your wear bars. Try the shimming first and have her ride it. If you haven't checked your ski alignment, I would do that as well. Let us know how it turns out

Slap a pair of woodies doolies (4") on it and be done with it.

If you are having a hard time getting out of someones ski ruts then the sled shoots off to the left or right, you need to shorten the skag lenght. Yamahas have a longer lenght of skag foot print in the snow then other brands making it harder to get out of other tracks. I'm not talking about the carbide lenght, the steel part. With other brands the steel part is bowed and the front and back embedded into the ski. The yamaha's are flat giving a longer foot print out of the ski.
Kimpex makes a skag called Jagged Edge that is a doolie with a short skag lenght. They work wounder's in hard pack snow at cold temps. The down side is when the snow gets soft around 35degrees in the sun, they push a little. I shimmed the ski's and Studboys doolie's still darted for me and the single runners were worse for darting. I felt the sled was unpredictable. Increasing the front end shock preload can transfer weight off the front end to the skid frame. You might wan't to try this also.

I went with stud boy duece bar 4.5" and mine was gone. I did do the shim two years ago but when I changed my skid some of the darting returned. With the stud boys duece bar it's gone.
