SR Viper flap on nytro?

Has anyone else thought about putting the new snow flap on their sled? I have searched but can't find a part # for it?? My reason is I cut my flap off at the score line on the bottom because I could not back up in deep snow with it, I have since added 1600nm springs and Noe the rear of the sled is a lot higher, I figured the longer flap would make a difference.

I think the tunnel width is different on the viper as in smaller.....
I just ordered the whole sled snow flap comes with it ...lol....I can't wait ...

I believe the Nytro would benefit from a longer snow flap period. IMO, part of the cooling problem it the fact that the current flap is too short and the snow just gets kicked out the back. IMO Doo has the best snow flap design...it's like a scoop that deflects the snow back into the tunnel and onto the track to be carried up to the heat exchanger. The Nytro needs an 18" flap minimum...I'm going to add an extension or get a custom flap made...however if the Viper one will work that would bee cool....just need to measure the width where it mounts to the tunnel.

Why would you want to have more snow and ice packed in the rear of the tunnel. Furthermore the Skidoo has heatexchangers under the tunnel hence the snowflap design. Unless, of course, you have added undertunnel exchangers. Otherwise you can throw as much snow as you want under there and its not gonna be any cooler

I cut my flap short before last season and had zero overheating issues other than on hard pack, which is normal. And it was hovering right around 32 degrees the entire week. WHat I did have problems with is all of the snowdust that kicked up all over my back due to the shortened flap. Because of the high temperatures, that snow dust instantly melted when it landed on me and I got completely drenched, to the point that it was soaking through my snowmobile pants, running down my legs and into my boots. This year I"m going to get rid of my shortened flap and try one of those Skinz flex flaps.

The viper flap is 1 1/4" narrower then the stock yamaha nytro flap. it could still work though
