Doing a track swap at delivery for my 2017 viper LTX-LE. I have read every post I could find on these tracks. I ride mostly trail of all conditions with some off trail thrown in. I plan to increase my off trail fun and wanted a more all around track. I really like the sounds of the ice cobra. Wasnt even considering this track till I read some positive posts about its off trail capabilities. Even casmo rates it's floatability higher then the regular cobra. Thought that was weird. And the studs may help in icy corners. So please leave any thoughts or experiences with your track related to a LTX and what ya do, don't like ect.... Then vote on what you would want. Thanks chris

i purchased a cobra 1.6 from country cat last season and sold my 0 mile stock track and it only cost me about $100 more to do the swap. I liked the track alot and even did a week in colorado and it didnt do too bad. Im not a big fan of studs- mostly from the damage they cause in the garage and driveway loading and the trailer.

My 2015 LE came with the 1.75 Back country track. I wasn't sure it was the track I wanted because I do mostly trail riding, but I decided if I didn't like it I would swap it out. After 2 seasons I'm impressed! This track has performed great on the trails and off. Only issue may be slightly elevated engine cooling temps when running on setup groomed trails. Track is holding up well with no excessive hyfax wear. Oh, and nobody can follow too close behind with all the chunks of snow that get thrown out. It's good to know it's there when you do hit the deep stuff.

You say you ride MOSTLY trails so go with ice-cobra. There is no negative while riding, just garage & trailer issues. Talking to dealer just yesterday about tracks & he thought ice-cobra was the BEST all around track because even the off trail sleds he sells still do mostly trails.
