Well, I managed to fit a 1" on an '87 Exciter, so I would HOPE SO. Worst case you put on smaller drivers and gear it up a bit.

yes is will fit with stock drivers, you will lose a little top end though. mine is a 98' devil in the blue dress!!!!!! 
Remove the tunnel & front protectors & it will fit.

I put a camoplast challenger 1.25 on my 2000 srx for last season. All I had to remove was the 2 front protectors. I drilled out he rivets. My top end seemed to have dropped a little. It sure did hook up a lot better. At 50 mph you could give it full throtle and still lift the skis off the ground.

Funny thing I noticed on the RX1 is that with the more agressive track, the speedo went down a LOT, but on the gun, it went UP.
