Just add the Marine grade Stabil to it and let it run a little. The E-10 thing around here in Maine is kinda being overblown. Just look at what some dealers and shops want to charge for K100. My friend bought some for 40 bucks locally and at the store in Kokajo it was 25 for the same thing. Just add some or better yet add a fitch fuel catalyst Thats what I did to my bike and sled and NO problems.
Go to a snowmobile dealer or the marine department of Wal*Mart and pick up a bottle of StarTron, It is supposed to keep this crap ethanol gas from separating and rejuvinate old gas. Being from Maine you should be a member of the MSA so look at the January issue of The Maine Snowmobiler on page 18 is a full page ad for this product. I can't vouch for how it works but I did get some and put it in my sled just for good measure. As I look at it, it can't hurt to try it. I hope this helps.

I used startron at the end of last season for storage in my vector and apex without issue; mixed per instructions, ran both machines to get it through (5-10 mins guessing), I syphoned everything out
both were a-ok when broken out this year....Vector got sold before riding but started up a ran great with new gas as with the apex.

Guys, we have been running the E10 here in MN for many years now. I have never had a problem with stabilized E10 in storage even on my old two smokes.
With a fuel injected 4 stroke you should not even worry about stabilized E10 causing storage problems.

I also use starTron and have had no problems with it. My dealer put me onto it and everytime I fill up with the 4 stroke and the 2 stroke I add a little and will use it for the summer.

x2, It's going to be my 3rd season with FITCH works wonders!
The other thing to mention is keep her FULL to the cap to avoid mositure build up.
stabil will work on anything. ethanol will seperate out of the gas and the gas will float on the ethanol. ethanol attracts water and the sled wont run right. efi models ar not bothered as much as carbed models but marine grade stabil resists the seperation of the two.

I deal with this topic almost on a daily basis. Seems that the only people that have problems with E-10 are people that live on both coasts. In the midwest, there doesn't seem to be any problems. I believe it's the climate. I've seen horrible things happen to carbs, and fuel systems in general. At the Jersey Shore, marina's are loaded with with boats that don't run. Anyway, to help answer your question. I believe in the Fitch catalyst. Also, I add 3 to 4x the recommended amount of Sta-Bil to every machine I winterize or summerize, I work on these things on the side. I have been doing the Sta-Bil thing for over 30 years, never once had a problem. This year I used the marine grade, again, more than required, but not quite as much. I also ad some Iso dry gas, I must add. Just so you know, I don't worry about filling the tanks, or emptying them. I don't recommend emptying them, though. Next year, check the carbs if you have them, top off with premium for the first tank, and ride. The extra Sta-Bil does not effect the way it will run. If you have injection, the problems are much less due to the closed vent system. Hope this helps.
