2008 nytro rtx
Hey everyone. Got something I'm not too sure about on my sled. 08 nytro rtx with a clutch kit that I've been told. I haven't dug into it yet and will when the winter starts to wind down. I've noticed that when I'm stopped, and want to start going, if I burp the throttle a few times it sounds like it wants to stall out and die. Its got tons of power from low, mid and high and no error codes or engine lights. Could it be as simple as some stale fuel? I can pick up a can of sea foam and run that stuff through the sled (Like. carb cleaner but cleans everything out). I've never owned a 4 stroke so I don't know whats normal and what isn't yet haha. Thanks everyone.

No, not normal.
I think I would start by changing the fuel. Put in some good fresh gas. Also, how many miles on sled? Others here will have some suggestions I'm sure.

12500 miles on the sled. Not sure if exhaust donuts have been done, but it doesn’t sound like any leaks. It runs really smooth and tons of power when you hammer on it.

Ya, I believe its attached to the pump. About all you can do is make sure its clean and not plugged up. Hopefully the pump is ok. I'm not sure how much pressure it runs at.

So just an update, I noticed it was only doing this sometimes.

From a complete stop, if you just tap the throttle, rpm’s drop to about 550, if you keep tapping the throttle it picks itself up and carries on like normal. Only does this sometimes and only at very light throttle pressure. I’m going to try some sea foam and see if that helps with maybe the injectors?

tip the machine forward and to the side and siphon the tank from the corner. you will probably see the problem
