Star Linkage

Hey everyone. Just had a question about the star Linkage for the xtx. Do I need to have my center shock done as well if I add the linkage kit?

I did the kit on my Apex XTX and didn't have the shock work done. 1 season like that and I questioned everyones results. Sent both shocks in and wish I'd have done that from the beginning. Better valuing than stock and the shortened shaft is insurance against major damage should your limiter straps let go.
