What is the difference between doing a Star relocate and extending the track to 128"? It seems like most prefer the relocate kit over the rail extension. for those of you that have done one or the other why did you choose the option?

I haven't done either yet. But when my track is toast I will be doing the 128 relocate from Star Suspensions. My choice for this is because you get a much better approach angle so you will not trench as much is the deep stuff and may even gain a few mph on top end, and supposubly you get a much better handling and riding set-up aswell. Also, you get the best of both worlds and have the ability to run a 128 track with no rail extensions. Just my 2 cents.

What's the biggest lug track you can run with the relocation kit? Just curious.

Even though you're relocating the suspension, the driveshaft is not moving so you'll still only be able to clear what a Nytro normally clears.

Don't quote me but I believe the biggest lug you can run with stock drivers is a 1.5". Any bigger and you have to swap out drivers, although I could be wrong.

You can run a 1.75 track if you cut off the exchanger protectors and remove the tunnel protectors.

You wouldn't be running any studs then with the protectors gone. Could you run a 1.5 w/ studs?
