how exactly do i change the starter brush on a phazer with out tilting on the motor is there a way to take the starter motor off is it easy than my apex ?
If you want to take it all the way out you have to take out all the bolts on front bulkhead except the two top ones and pivot it all up to give your self enough room to pull it out. Also have heard of guys triming some tabs off of cross bars under motor to give you enough room but have not wanted to cut any integrity out so I have not trie this method?

Remove the front end for access. That's the best way in my opinion. http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?t=64045

tore every thing up and found that the brush's are fine but when i turn the key fuel pump goes off but no juice to the starter motor when i turn the key to go need help.
Could be a sticky relay. They are located behind and under battery. Sometimes they get moisture in them from condensation and if its below freezing they will stick. CURE put a hair dryer on it or pull it out and warm up with your hands. Could also be the grounding block, the 07's were known to short out and fry. It is located in main wirering harness going up verticaly by the radiator. You have to unwind it to see it but its about 2/3 the way up, feel for a square piece under wrappings about 1 1/2 wide by 1 inch tall and 1/2 inch deep. Good luck. Oh and are your starter bolts tight( that hold it together) if they loosen up it will spin center caseing and make magnets go out of allignment and either spin backwards or not at all?

I'm with Tbyrd on this one. I bet the center casing spun and now it sounds like there's no juice to the starter. Pull the starter again, line up the marks on the casing and end caps, then re-install.
