Would a pre power steering stator work on a newer model with power steering?

from what i have read/done based on vintage yamaha motorcycle sites, it looks like it should work as the 81410 is the main part # and the 1st 3 indicate application while the last ones are the version # of the part. how i found ovation exh fits an et410.

I was wondering if it puts out less power. Can't seem to find any output data for some reason.

idk, the only site that might have that info would be rm stator or another stator rebuilder.

That was actually something I was considering when the stator went out in the 08. For some ungodly reason, Yamaha wants almost twice as much for the 08 stator than the one for my 18. Since it was cheaper, I thought about going that route but then realized with the addition of EPS, did the output increase and in turn be too much for my 08. Although I did stick with OEM, I opted to use IMPEX as it was end of the season and there was no rush...and even after duty and the ride was still $350 less than what Partzilla wanted.
