These are straight from the parts fiche from Port Yamaha. From what I am understanding by the part numbers is they have replaced this part a couple times. It looks like once in 2009, and then again in 2010 with the current design. It must have something to do with the crankshaft position sensor failing? The way it looks everything up to the 2010 are compatible with each other. The parts Fiche isn't updated for the 2011 models yets so to finish this little study you need to call the dealer and ask them what the part number is. If they match the previous part number (8FP-81410-02-00) then you should be good to go with ordering but 2011 but remember that is the exact same stator that was in the 2010 and any replacment.

looks like 2 revisions so far. should mean that you will get more wattage.

The Yamaha website has the 2011 fiche (parts breakdown).

I don't necessarily think it is more wattage but it could be updates on the crankshaft sensor. That's my current problem. I just wonder if there is another way to find out what the revised in the part. Does anyone know where you can find a part revision update or description.

Yamaha Canada's website lists 8HG-81410-00 as the part number for an Apex SE stator.

Yeah i checked tonight and same thing for the part number down here. I would really ask the dealer a bunch of questions reguarding this before you went and bought a 2011 stator. Or have someone that bought a 2011 check their sled and see if it is the same thing. Since it is a different part number i would be really sceptical
