Anyone I installed one of the new '20 and up master cylinders on their Viper or Winder? It is a lot cleaner with the shorter lever, composite should be warmer than the aluminum, plus it mounts closer to the switch gear which will free up some space to mount things on the bars like my inreach (without taking the nice helmet hanger off=) )The caliper is unchanged, so should function fine. Can be purchased direct from Hayes for 225.

The port that line attaches to drops out of bottom on the new style master. Brake lines are different part numbers but that is likely just due to a change in length of the line from the port orientation change.
I know many guys were running the hayes polaris lever. They are shorter and a direct fit if I recall correctly.

Travis do you happen to have the Hayes part number or a link to the Polaris lever you mentioned? The port that line attaches to drops out of bottom on the new style master. I have the new Stealth on my 14 Viper. Definitely better lever feel. I do know the Offtrail guys do break the Plastic levers more often though.Anyone I installed one of the new '20 and up master cylinders on their Viper or Winder? Skinz made a great short brake lever for the viper and sidewinder. Can still find them on eBay.

Did you change the brake line to the new one? If not, any issues using the existing line?I have the new Stealth on my 14 Viper. Definitely better lever feel. I do know the Offtrail guys do break the Plastic levers more often though.
Stock line. Is something different on new line?Did you change the brake line to the new one? If not, any issues using the existing line?

It is a different part number like Travis said, maybe a little shorter side it mounts to the bottom of the stealth master cylinder. But if the stock line works for you I'm not changing it.

I also put the Stealth brake master cylinder a few years ago. Same brake line. I had installed the polaris short brake lever prior to changing to the Stealth but couldn't get the parking brake to work. But Polaris lever was much better then stock lever.
