came close to a head on crash a couple days ago..so this guy was trying for a speed record around a turn on the trail and skidded sideways into me- crushed the left steering knuckle and bent the ski....I feel damn lucky because that seems to be the only problem and I'm alive. I plan to repair, does anyone know if there is anything odd or strange to consider during during the install? Looks pretty straightforward....so I hope. Thanks.

Pretty easy. I got the lower joint out by just giving Spindle a good whack with hammer right where taper of joint goes in. Duct Tape where hit is made protected the Powder coating but no guarantee of that. Pickle Fork would work too. Take some measurements of left and right side just to be sure nothing else is bent. Those spindles are pretty stout. I would check other parts for sure.

Many Thankx Cannondale........Others ideas and opinions are always a benefit on these repairs we don't do every day!
