I installed the PMT relocate this year.
Puts the bars up and forward.
Didn't have to cut the dash or cowl ...just trim the rubber gasket around the opening.
I had to reroute the throttle cable behind the riser instead of in front of it. It poss could have stayed in the stock routing but it was tight turning left to the point of slightly increasing throttle when at idle.
And the Fawkin TORS constantly was going off all year the 1st yr I had the sled new without a steering relocate.....didn't matter how I adjusted the throttle cable.
With the cable rerouted behind the riser...NO more TORS..ever.
I have had trouble with my PMT relocate. It was VERY stiff when I first installed it..to the point the steering would barely turn!
It was installed correctly, I called and spoke with PMT at length...they trouble shot the issue with me.
I removed the grease, emoried the steering shaft where it meets the steering blocks...still too tight when the lower blocks were even remotely snug much less tight.
After half a season and 1000 miles it is still the same.
I have to run the lower blocks loose enough that the blocks rattle in order to allow normal steering effort.
PMT says they make the blocks a tight spec due to variation.
I'm not too thrilled...
The relocate works well otherwise but it is a significant issue.
I ended up using Nylock nuts on the upper and lower blocks so I can run the blocks loose enough to get normal steering operation
Works but not ideal.
Your experience may vary....

OFT All the way. It's almost a shame you can't see it. It's a work of art

I am very happy with the OFT. I originally had some binding on mine, but it was due to tightening up one end of the steering block before the other. I needed to tighten each block a little at a time so everything came together nice. Now I can turn the bars with a couple fingers....

I have the OFT, its a little tricky to install the first time, but works like a charm , super easy to turn. 2000kms on it so far and the blocks are still as tight as day one

I have the BDX, great instructions, easy install and the ball bearing design is as smooth and easy as it gets. You also get your choice of a 4,5 or 6 inch riser. Nice quality piece too.

I cheaped out and did the "Grizz" method last night. Pretty easy mod. Thanks Grizz, most of the good ideas that I get off this site, come from you!
