I am reading different posts on various steering slop and it seems to be related to the 6 plastic bushings in teh steering colum, from which 4 are vertical and the last 2 are at the bottom affecting the left and right motion. Alot of you guys said that you machined them down? I guess without pulling my sled apart I dont understand how making them smaller, would get rid of the play? I would think you would need to add to them to get rid of the pay? The way I picture it is like a hole with 2 semi circles of plastic on each side, now when you make them smaller, thus making the hole larger, I would think that would make it worse no?
