Still waiting on the replacement rail to come in.
The sled has spent more time on the lift this season than on the snow!

Yep...sometimes it just happens

Was bored waiting for a few parts and other stuff so I found some LED lights.
Installed them in such a way that if I had a mechanical issue on the trail at night upcoming sleds could see me.

Went out to the river to do some testing. Now turning 11k rpm at wot and top speed of 106mph GPS.
Back home and install my Ulmer clutch kit. After a few short spirts down a nearby ditch I have the rpms down to 10.5k.
Off to the river again. Same top speed as before but gained a few mph in a 1/4 mile run.

Installed some Ice Scratchers. Mounted them on the skis to maximize snow dust going into the skid. I cut some metal plates to mount inside and outside of the ski.
I also indexed the scratcher's mounting surface so they will not rotate. Sorry no pic of that. Used an eye bolt to park them when not in use.

Decided to update the look of the sled. Picked up some black vinyl wrap material and applied it to the tunnel.

Round 2 for the skid. I have purchased the 3rd W arm and had it reinforced and the 3rd set of rails for this skid. I bent the originals slightly. Purchased some used ones and they were also bent but not as much as the originals. Now this set is pretty close to laser beam straight. Sent everything off to get powder coated. This time I went all gloss black.

Well here I go again.
Picked up a well cared for 2009 LTX. Love the colors but white is sooo hard to keep clean so black and blue it will be.
