Stereo

I found an old set or headphones and broke them off the headband. Took the speaker parts and put them in the helmet headphone pouch. Very comfortable and stays in the velcro pouch that is built into my helmet.
this sounds like a good idea I tried the ear buds the other day they would fall out plus I would find myself driving slow so I could hear I think I need a rocking system

Damn, this is funny ;)! Why not install a subwoofer in the seat? Wouldn´t that be cool?

Don´t get offended, it´s always a nice thing that people make different mods than others, but this stereo thing just sounds funny to me.

In Finland countryside we have these 15 year old kids who have subs and huge amps installed in their father´s HUGE, and I really mean HUGE tractors. And of course tinted windows with some Pioneer or JBL stickers on them ;):D Then they drive those effing things round the city centre, bass pumping and running over everything because they can´t control those machines. End of OT.

I have a bluetooth helmet I stream music to while riding my motorcycle that works pretty well. I guess a person could try finding something like that for their sled, too.

A stero on a snowmobile? Your kidding me right? :o| What is the world coming to? Whats next seat belts and curb feelers? Wait I know air bags to lower the sled to the ground when its parked outside the bar. Scary! LMAO............ . .. Really I mean really? I'm just sayin....
The first guy I see blairing a stero through a town at 2:00 in the mornig after the bar closes I am going to ride up in front of him and roost him! Really?
I can understand the IPOD and helemet speakers. If thats your thing go for it, but I really don't want to hear "I got a little jingle ingle ingle in my pocket" from someones spray painted flat black snowmobile that has a big FEAR THIS sticker on his broken windshield while wearing 1 piece carharts and has a open face bubble shield. Sorry guys just kinda blown away by this one.

To each his own I guess..... .. .

I rode with ear buds one time and promised myself i would never do it again.. I was listening to some pretty aggressive metal and it got me pretty pumped... drove alot faster, and wayy more aggressive over the bumps and stuff haha the blood was flowing that day!

I feel you, man :bump: That same thing happened to me when I was listening to In Flames´ latest album while driving

And no, I don´t have a stereo system in my sled, only ear buds.

:bling

I personally don't think that some of these guys do this to hear the tunes, but to show off while driving up to a bar restaurant or hotel. No different then the lights etc. Singles em out from the crowd. The guy I saw had about four guys around him asking questions and giving compliments. Just my opion and observation. Not that I don't do that also boo and again lol

uh huh.

wow.
in town we had this kid. 15 yrs old. wanted to be cool. so he got a moped. and he still wasnt cool.
so because the moped had a battery, he put a stereo on it, and a amp, and a sub, in a box, strapped to the cargo rack.

AND HES STILL NOT COOL!!!
lol.
now hes 30, and he lives in his parents basement, and drives a 94 honda civic with big speekers, nav, and sat radio.
hes still a little behind on the cool scene.

funny kid. luckily hes engaged, with no kids yet.
and no, its not me funny guys.
just pointing out where the cool cats with the big stereos end up.

*sidenote, i just run the collet comunicator and plug in music if i feel like it. sure is nice being able to warn your buddies about the a-hole on the wrong side of the trail. and the groomer warnings pretty cool. even if it is just warming up at the groomer barn...for 3 miles.
