What is best way to remove the warning stickers from tunnel and panels . Hair dryer and goo gone ?? :rocks:

A really neat trick I tried yesterday, and it actually worked! Baby oil!
I've ruined many a windshield over the years trying brake clean, carb cleaner, and lots of other products out of a spray can as well as lacquer thinner and xylene. All worked great at removing the adhesive, but would cloud the lexan.
Once you peel the sticker but have some adhesive left, try a cloth with baby oil on it. It takes a little elbow grease, but it does remove the glue and not wreck the plastic.

Not necessarily applicable to an aluminum tunnel, buy way to neat a trick not to share on windshields and other plastic parts.

Heat and then use WD40 to remove the residue. G.B.

Try Goo gone or goo-b-gone. Something like that. I have had great luck with it to remove the remaining adheasive.

I have never seen WD-40 remove the shine on anything. im prety sure it is safe to use anywhere on your sled.

I have used WD-40 on many a things without any negative consequences, wouldn't hesitate to do it on the tunnel however on other areas I always prefer the idea "better safe then sorry" so I will test it on a small spot hidden somewhere. So far though as I said I have not encountered any ill effects.

Which ones do you have to leave on the tunnel??

If the sled is new, then the dealer's/manu's have a legal obligation to have them there, but once it's sold then the new owner is pretty much free to remove what ever he wants. (double check first though)

I also use heat and WD-40, or Goo be gone, or peanut butter or Mayonaise. Usually anything that has oil in it will work but I prefer WD for than and that only.
