cire said:So your heating the underside and how warm are you getting it? Thanks
Well, it's hard to say... It's only a hair dryer, but I get it good and warm from underneath, then switch to the top side and they peel right off.
Interesting I will try that ~ thanks

Charcoal lighter fluid. Wipe .....adhesive gone no damage to hood at all. Also spray starter fluid works well. I like using what is in the tool crib. Goo Gone works well with some rubbing but never seem to have handy. Always doing this in below freezing temps.

3M adhesive and wax remover. You can buy it at Wal-Mart. I've used it on painted surfaces and plastic windshields. It removes adhesive with very little rubbing and does not harm plastic surfaces.

- 2016 RS Vector XTX 1.25 Lug wifes..2013 RS Vector LTX.. 2003 600 VMax Past Machines 3-2007 Attaks 1-2010 Vector LTX.. sorry no Stinkdoos or poo's cats.
I tried all of the above but these new (last years) NH regristation stickers won't come off. I tried heat and then I go to peel and it won't peel. You can catch it with your fingernail but only about 1/16 or 1/8 in. comes. The previous years came right off by heat and peel whole sticker off.
No dice with these. I'm not talking about the adhevise left. That I can do with these. It's the material of the sticker itself. I think it's reflective somewhat. Crap.. anything stronger to soften them and it'll melt the plastic.

I have tried many different ways to remove stickers some come easy with a heat gun and somemore you need a plastic scraper alright on the tunnel but be very careful using it on the hood. I found goo gone to work very well but a bit of gasoline on a rag will work just as good.
