I was just wondering what the difference is between the two bolt holes on the rear drop brackets for the skid are. Mine came set up using the higher bolt hole, I'm in the process of fitting in a under tunnel exhaust set up on my own. If I were too use the lower mounting hole to give me more clearance, would that change how my skid would act? I spent a ton of time last winter getting my skid set up just perfect so I just want too know if I were too use that lower hole would it change the way the skid performs.. Or why is there two holes there too begin with? 2010 mtx 153 se
Thanks,
Ted

the two holes adjust rear ride height and also changes your transfer angles a bit, if you have it dialed in already and have clearance for your undertunnel then dont change it. it will give you a little more clearance but not much. how much room do you have between your track and exhaust with your new setup, when your suspension is bottomed out?

Ok thanks.. I just dropped off the mid pipe at the local muffler shop, upon inspection I noticed a weld let go, when I get it back together I will check the clearance.. How much clearance would be needed? I put a CE 2.5 in so it's going too get tight

enough to account for your suspension settings and sag in track. I wouldnt be able to tell you, I dont have a 2.5" track.
plenty of info on here for these questions you have. just have to look.
